I went to a wedding recently and the first dance was good but went on far too long. However, when it finished everyone was so excited they flooded the dance floor! I do recall though, that all the other weddings we went to around that time had either Eric Clapton's "Wonderful Tonight" or Chris de Burgh "Lady in Red" (shudder). The wedding I went to last year had Gap Band's "Oops Upside your Head" with everyone encouraged to take part as the bridal couple hated dancing & tradition.
